Birgitte Hagemann Snabe

Birgitte has extensive experience in and knowledge of sustainability, systemic impact, and cross-sector partnerships. She has ten years of experience as a management consultant (Deloitte and IBM) and four years as a researcher in system dynamics and change management (Mannheim University). From 2007 to 2012 Birgitte was given the responsibility of building up HRH Crown Princess Mary’s Foundation – a social foundation, which combats social isolation in Denmark. This task sparked her devotion towards making a difference for youth and society.

Birgitte has been associated with the international community and business scene throughout several years. Experiencing how responsible leadership can make tremendous changes in the world eventually inspired her to found Young Global Pioneers. By including her extensive network, she saw an opportunity to contribute to inspiring young global talents to become responsible leaders with global insights, intercultural understanding and aspiration to make their mark.

Birgitte has lived in USA, Sweden, and Germany and currently lives in Denmark.
