Emotional Intelligence & Tanzanian Culture

“Being together and reflecting with each other is one of the ways of realizing our emotions,” shared by Hassan, is one of the Learning Sentences that encapsulate todays experiences. This morning the participants undertook an Emotional Intelligence workshop, providing methods and tools to improve their understanding and relationship to their own emotions and the emotions of others. 

The participants also had a packed cultural day. Beginning with their second Swahili lesson, the 2018 Learning Journey participants had a lecture on Tanzanian culture, visited the local Nelson Mandela University after a visit to a local market.
