Tribe Visits

More than 100 tribes live in Tanzania. While visiting two tribes, the Maasai and the Iraqw we were inspired by this fact. What could the rest of the world learn from people who have learned to live so closely, and relatively peacefully together – although they have very different believes and values?

Beyza: “We people can stick together because each of us have a human side. This does not mean losing our own identity, it means that we all have common values of humanity.”

Frederik: “Don’t judge a whole culture on a single story”.

Florianti: “As the world becomes more intertwined, it is important to not only embrace unity but also to not lose our own identity.”
