Understanding coral reefs & Mangroves

Today the Indian Ocean became our classroom, transforming yesterday’s classroom education into first hand learning with a visit to some of Zanzibar’s mangroves and coral reefs. There was a morning boat trip, snorkeling and an educational walking exploration of the mangroves. In Reflection Hour, the participants shared some of their reflections on the importance of coral reef preservation and the impact of climate change.
